If you loved Howl's Moving Castle when you were young or have read any Robin Mckinley books, the tone of Spindle is sort of a combination of those. This book is inspired by Sleeping Beauty, but takes the major elements of the tale and runs with them in a new and interesting direction without destroying the beloved story. Author Interview — W.R.
